Monday Movie Review - The Book Of Eli

Tonight we had 'The Book of ELI' played on our DVDs. Just by coincidence that its Monday so I made it my Monday Movie Review..

Actually this is the second attempt in watching, first attempt ended up with a shuteye, well I'm a romantic-drama-comedy lovers. But, after being convinced by the lovely hubby of mine, I decided to give a second shot.
So I like it...i guess everyone knows Denzel's quality, Gary Oldman (Carnegie) and Mila Kunis (she played Solara).. she's a beauty... I also like the story, only hates the post apocalyptic setting...
Well, despite of the shooting, killing and all the violent shown, it tells one thing for sure (at least for me) that when God had a plan even if it looks impossible it'll miraculously be done... and no man upon this earth will ever blew it no matter how hard he try. I'll include this movie as one of my favourite....for an 1 to 10 scale, its 8 for me....

I read this quote yesterday but can't stop my self to blog about it..

I often involved in a small argue with my hubby on how we shud "protect" ourselves from being fooled by others so just stop being too kind or how we have done our best but never gets the credits so don't do your best but I always stick on my thoughts that it is always between me and GOD.

I'm not trying to blame my hubby, please understand that sometimes we just ran out of patience and feels 'enough is enough'... I'm also not playing angels here.. but I know my GOD and He never fails me nor anyone else....

Mother Theresa got it all...It gives me strength... hope you do too...

P.S. Tomorrow is Vesak Day in Jakarta, so its a National Holiday... means... for a full time working mom like me... its time for family and a lot of FUN... have a BLAST weekend....

Jai Ho!!!!!!!

I love this song... first heard it while watching Slumdog Millionaire...

and today I ran into this song again, I heard it at the office, someone make it a cellphone ringtones... which remind me to googled the real meaning of Jai Ho that I've been planning to do BUT always forgot... 

So, I googled it, some of my friends told me that the meaning was Destiny, but according to Mr.Wiki it was "may victory be yours" or "victory/triumph to thee".....so its uplifting just like the song beat that can make you move your feet...

Like I've been telling you about my face pealing series... owkay.. this week I'm getting better... did I mention that I look horrible last week I even wear a face mask... here's a picture of me last week

I'm recovering my soul right now... hahaha... trust me I didn't take this lightly, it was quite very  stressful week... and on this 2nd week, my neck still hurts, every morning I found another new scar because I scratch it while sleeping.....but its getting better..... and yesterday morning getting ready for work, I look my self in the mirror and decided not to wear mask, I'm gaining my confidence... I decided to supported my decision and accept my condition right now.. c'mon.. it wont be long... and if anyone ever stare at me because of how I look... I'm going to ignored them...
I am getting better and better and better every day...

whats had been going on...

Lots had been going on over the past week... and without pictures.. thats why I'm just gonna have to tell you about it...

I've got my self into a series of face peeling.... arrghh it was one of a the longest and worst week of my life...
one day my boss came to me and said
boss : hey, i've wanted to asked you... whats with the face? is it unpurpose or you wilingly get your self into it?
me : I got my self into it boss.... *sigh*
what can I say... beauty needs sacrifice.... but when it went along I dreaded that sentences

last thursday we went to a circus.... yaayy...(still with an awfull look bcoz of the peeling) but we had a great time... especially the kids...

and on the same day I finally bought my self a pair of flat shoes, a cute one too... right in time to pull me out of my almost desperate soul....

And a friend of mine got married... very happy for them and hope they wud have a blessed one...

Today a week ago, I look like I was burned out of something but today I almost look normal, a little red but almost normal...

Have a blast coming week everyone..

A Pile of Wishes unGranted

Lately I've been recalling my women thingy wish list.... lots of things that haven't materialized..yet.. ;)

starting from the things I urgently needed to the non-essentials-just-for-fun-things... well the non essentials is actually choking up the list... lol... 

• In desperate need of Flat Shoes..., almost bought one last week, but after a struggling mind-thoughts and a little temptation from friends I willingly and unhesitatingly pick out a cute-good-looking-awesome black peep toe classic wedges which also already on my list before... with no regrets.... LOL  

• I'm not a bag person, I didn't have much of these on my chest and also not a brand worshiper, any kind that fits my eyes cud go down ... but always a shoulder sling bag lovers... mine is now peeling out I guess because I wear it almost everyday.... poor me... this is a real excuse to get a new one right??

• a black bolero...I had some tank tops which I would boldly wear BEFORE I got pregnant and gave birth to the ELDEST one... shut up??!! yeahh ... well I donate some, but there are few that I really love and actually just bought another last week...hehe... so this to cover up the overflowing f.a.t around my biceps... and why black?? because it matches any color...

• some work outfits..., I finally need this for my 4 years employers who always provide a-bit-weird-on-color classic uniform for us, finally decided not to make any this year to minimize cost.. not sure this was a good or bad news....hhhmmmm

• Boots... aaahh... I love boots...boots is always on my list, but even though I'm so much in love with it haven't got any... lets keep them in the store and on my list until I figure out where to wear that....coz I'm not really a natty person...

• A new sport shoes, because my old one is barely feasible to use.... well, my friends and me had a late resolution for this year (better than not).... to loose some weight and start on our workouts....but not so seriously taken... excuses excuses excuses... oh what the h*ll....I still need it... 

• This last on the list is what i've been dreaming for these past view months... but also being arguing with my hubby on which on the above is going to go down... so much in love with both, but the thing is the SLR are quite pricey... which I'm not so happy about... aargghh... its a tough decision.... we'll see which one ended up on our shopping bag... will post an update...

 

PC special GIFT to the D

Continuing D's farewell,,,
Me and Pu3 had prepared for a little sumthing for her,, after weeks of thinking we ended up in planing to give her a scrapframe of the 3 of us. Because none of us is familiar with this whole scrappy thing and didn't have the time to go for a class, so we decided to give the liberation to the teacher to explore her no-doubt-creativity.

Dunno on which we are really excited of... the wrapping or the picturing... LOL....

..THe D's last marvelous Day...

Friday was the last day for one of my besties at office - 'D'...

we gave her a remembrance...
it was a picture of all of us at the Agency Department..

'twas a sad yet happy moment.. we are happy to know that she l-o-v-e-s the gift, yet sad for its a parting gift...



We had sushi for lunch, if you're puzzled with our dresses (and shoes too!!), yup!! it was on purpose... we look gorgeous rite??!! I was satisfied.....

I was so glad I choose turquoise... I love that color!!!

Anyway, me and pu3 gave her a scrap thingy on frame.. with purple color and purple butterflies (it was D's favorite)



And the evening she held a party, we went for karaoke, it was a blast!! we had such a great crazy time singing and dancing... really are a great-last-moment time...








Thanks a lot Ms. D, sure hell will miss you around ....
